STAR Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) Card
Our automatic teller machine (ATM) card allows you to withdraw funds from any ATM connected to the STAR^® or CIRRUS^® networks. You can withdraw available funds from your share savings or share draft checking account.

VISA Check (Debit) Card
Debit cards, sometimes called “cash” or “check” cards, may now be to consumers what credit cards were 20 years ago. We are pleased to offer our members the VISA^® Check Card. Since the card bears the VISA logo, it’s accepted at any of the more than 10 million merchant locations worldwide that accept VISA credit cards. It directly accesses funds from your share draft checking account, so, unlike a credit card, there’s no outstanding balance or interest to pay. It eliminates the need to carry a checkbook or large amounts of cash.

Our VISA^® Check Card offers the added convenience of being an ATM (automated teller machine) card. You can use it to withdraw cash from your share savings or share draft checking account at ATM’s, both locally and out of state. Plus, you can use the card at grocery stores, gas stations, and other retailers offering automatic payment through point-of-sale machines at the checkout counter.

Keeping track of a debit card transaction is no more difficult than managing your checkbook. As with a check, you deduct the amount (plus fees, if any) from your account balance as soon as possible. The major difference: instead of a check copy, you have a store receipt for your records. Proper record keeping is important to avoid overspending and costly overdraft fees.

More and more people are using debit and credit cards together as cash management tools. They use their debit card for smaller purchases, such as meals, clothes, groceries and gasoline. Have you tried our convenient TELLER*Phone automated response system yet? With TELLER*Phone, you can access your account information 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any touch-tone telephone.

With TELLER*Phone, you can:

• check on your account balances
• make transfers between your accounts
• find out which checks have cleared your account
• request a withdrawal check to be mailed to your home

There is no charge for using TELLER*Phone and if you live outside our local calling area, we’ll even pay for the call.

Using TELLER*Phone is easy! Simply call 410-642-3035 if you’re in the Perry Point local calling area or, if not, call toll-free 1-866-287-2169. Respond to the instructions by pressing the buttons on your telephone keypad. You can return to the main menu at any time by pressing the * key.
